Growing up in a Copenhagen hippie commune (Freetown Christiania) developed great insight into human behavior and storytelling within Neils. His low key and subtle humor inspire many of his films with both beautiful imagery and detailed filmic craftsmanship. Most of his work consists of a warm human touch interwoven with a comedic twist. The most important essential key in his work is his carefully chosen cast. Furthermore Nielshas directed and written 3 feature films and received awards at the Berlin Film Festival. Neils’ television series gives him a great understanding for actors and maximizing their performance.
