Niels Grabol

Growing up in a Copenhagen hippie commune (Freetown Christiania), Niels developed great insight into human behavior and storytelling. His low-key and subtle humor inspire many of his films with both beautiful imagery and detailed filmic craftsmanship. Most of his work consists of a warm human touch interwoven with a comedic twist. The most important and essential key to his work is his carefully chosen cast. Furthermore, Niels has directed and written three feature films and received awards at the Berlin Film Festival. Neils’ television series gives him a great understanding of actors and maximizing their performances.
